The Hyde Park Arts Initiative is a unique coalition of artists, non-profits, businesses and individuals that organize and support several cultural events in Hyde Park annually, including the Artscene Festival and Open Studios. HPAI’s goal is to promote the growing arts community in Hyde Park, and utilize arts and cultural events to enhance the business center of Hyde Park, Cleary/Logan Square.

Hyde Park Open Studios Registration Open
The Sixth Annual Hyde Park Open Studios 2008 artist registration form is now available. The forms have been sent out via email to all past participating artists and is also on at our website www.hydeparkopenstudios.org Deadline to register: June 20th. This year's open studio is scheduled for December 6 & 7.
Hyde Park ARTSCENE Artist Registration Going On Now
ARTSCENE scheduled for Saturday, July 19th from 4:00 - 9:00pm @ Fairmount Avenue, Logan Square. Artisan booths available. Space is limited & filling fast! Be part of Hyde Park's very own summer evening arts festival and outdoor cafe! Hyde Park ArtScene features dozens of local artists, dance troupes, musicians and a chance to sample local food and drink in an outdoor cafe setting. Artist Registration Deadline: July 9th. Come join us for our first group outing at the beautiful Wakefield Estates and unleash your inner Ansel Adams or Monet! Bring your art supplies, your creative talents, and a picnic lunch. We will meet at the entrance at 12:00 and offer a quick tour of the gardens, orchards, water features and buildings. Then it's off to set up at your selected site and let the creative impulse flow. Work in groups or alone, but don't miss this opportunity. Directions: Last right on Brush Hill Rd before Rt. 138 (behind Thayer Montessori School).
